This truly unique Bumblebee Bonnet, is a close fitting cloche, shaped to fit the neck worked in 2 colour brioche using yarn from Jen-Ewe-Ine in Shapinsay.
The wool was 4 ply and has actually been knitted using 3 strands per stitch giving great structure and warmth to the design.
This small batch wool is from Jen-Ewe-Ine's own sheep and is hand dyed on the croft.
Undyed pure Jacob X wool from Marilees 2018 clip and lambs 2017 clip.
Border Leicester & Balwen (3:1) from Margaret, Katmis & Primrose 2019 clip.
100 % Scottish Wool 🏴
